1st Global Cement Electrical Energy Efficiency Conference and Exhibition
14-15 June 2011
Munich, Germany
Munich
“Munich nestles between art and beer like a village between hills.” Originally written by Heinrich Heine some 150 years ago, these words remain true today.
Munich is a city of palaces and public parks, art and coats of arms, Oktoberfest and oompah bands. With its famous onion domes, the 15th century Gothic Church of Our Lady is Munich’s unmistakable landmark. Not far away, at Marienplatz, the carillon plays three times a day. And just a stone’s throw from here is probably the most famous tavern in the world, the Hofbräuhaus beer hall - Munich’s most popular attraction and the city’s best known drinking establishment.
The Eden Hotel Wolff is located within 15 minutes walking distance from Munich’s old town. S-Bahn, metro and tram have stops in close vicinity to the hotel. The airport shuttle bus stops opposite the hotel and will bring you straight to the airport in 45 minutes. For instructions on how to drive there by car, please visit the hotel’s website: www.ehw.de
