Metso Outotec launches new Nordberg crusher head
24 August 2021Finland: Metso Outotec has launched the Xtreme forged crusher head. The supplier says that this completes the portfolio for Nordberg MP800, MP1000, MP1250, HP800, and HP900 crushers. It is made of one-piece forged material, with geometrical features to assure consistent bearing loading within machine design parameters.
Crushing products senior vice president Chad Smallwood said “Metso Outotec now has a complete range of crusher heads in the portfolio and our customers can choose the level of durability based on their application and needs. The new Xtreme forged head is the most reliable crusher head in the industry. The original equipment manufacturer (OEM) design ensures optimal crushing even where equipment may be pushed beyond design limits.”
Dominican Republic: Germany-based BHS-Sonthofen has supplied an RPM 1513 rotor impact mill to building materials producer Calizamar. The mill consists of a vertical shaft and will produce crushed sand of a consistent fineness and cubic particle shape. Calizamar produces and sells aggregates, natural stone, pre-cast concrete and paper bags.
Bedeschi secures Lafarge Cement Polska cement plant crushing and storage equipment supply contract
13 April 2021Poland: Italy-based Bedeschi has won a contract with China-based Nanjing Kisen International Engineering, part of China National Building Materials, to carry out equipment supply for the modernisation of crushing and storage facilities at a Lafarge Polska cement plant in Poland. The supplier says that it will provide a crushing system featuring two RI 450/15000 double rollers and two Pal SP 130/18 portal reclaimers for raw materials storage.
Cherat Cement to install new crusher at plant in Pakistan
19 January 2021Pakistan: Cherat Cement plans to spend US22m on an upgrade to Line 1 at its integrated plant in Nowshera district, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. The project includes the installation of a new crusher and general maintenance on the production line.
Hazemag supplies pozzolan crushers to Northern Cement
18 September 2020Philippines: Germany-based Hazemag says that it has supplied two HRC 1230 roller crushers to Northern Cement’s 2.0Mt/yr Bulacan, Quezon cement plant. The supplier says that each crusher has a capacity of 800t/hr and will grind pozzolan, shale and silica in the plant’s additive crushing and handling line.
Akhangarantsement plant receives rotary kiln housing
15 April 2020Uzbekistan: Eurocement subsidiary Akhangarantsement has reported the successful installation of rotary kiln housing at its upcoming 3.0Mt/yr integrated Akhangarantsement plant. The Uzbekistan Daily newspaper has reported that workers completed internal and external welding on the kiln body, while work on jaw and hammer crushers for the raw materials and clinker grinding plants is ongoing. The project is on schedule for completion in mid-2020.
Votorantim orders clinker cooler from Fons Technology
14 February 2020Tunisia: Brazil’s Votorantim Cimentos has ordered a clinker cooler and clinker roller crushers from Turkey’s Fons Technology International for an upgrade to its 1.2Mt/yr integrated Jbel Oust plant. Votorantim has been present in Tunisia since 2012 where it sells cement under the Jbel Oust brand.
Yakutcement launches new conveyor
29 January 2020Russia: Yakutcement has commissioned a crushed stone conveyor to circulate crushed stone of a 200 - 400mm fraction for secondary crushing at the 0.4Mt/yr Yakutcement plant in Mokhsogollokh. Yakutcement has said that the installation will save on the costs of a front-end loader and dump truck for conveying crushed stone to and from a temporary warehouse prior to secondary crushing.
Curt Snyder acquires Bradley Pulverizer
28 January 2020US: Curt Snyder, owner of Lancaster Products, has acquired cement grinding technology supplier Bradley Pulverizer. Snyder said, “Bradley Pulverizer’s line of pulverisers and mill classifiers complement Lancaster Products’ mixing, granulating and crushing capabilities,” to provide complete solutions and services to the cement industry.
Kerbulak plant commissioning expected March 2020
27 December 2019Kazakhstan: The government of the Almaty region in eastern Kazakhstan has announced that the construction of the Kerbulak cement plant, which began in May 2018, ends 2020 at 97% completion. The government and a Singaporean private company have installed preheaters, crushers, raw materials warehouses and a 25MW substation. The launch date of the plant is in March 2020. Of its 1.2Mt/yr cement yield, 80% will be sold on the domestic market, with 20% leaving Uzbekistan for Mongolia and neighbouring countries including China.
