Kanodia Cement commissions Amethi grinding plant
19 April 2022India: Kanodia Cement has commissioned its new Amethi cement plant in Uttar Pradesh. The plant consists of four grinding units spread over an area of 18ha. Indo-Asian News Service has reported that the facility’s equipment includes two 12-spout rotary packers and six floor-mounted truck loading machines, supplied by Denmark-based FLSmidth. Kanodia Cement says that the new plant marks progress in line with its sustainable development plant. Its operations will directly and indirectly employ 1000 people.
Uttar Pradesh government approves three grinding plant plans
08 September 2020India: The state government of Uttar Pradesh has granted approval to three planned grinding plant projects with a total value of US$115m. The Hindustan Times newspaper has reported that Kanodia Cement ’s Amethi grinding plant will cost US$39.6m, Eco Plus Cement Industries’ Prayagraj grinding plant will cost US$38.6m and Eco Plus Cement Industries’ Mirzapur grinding plant will cost US$37.1m.
India: Kanodia Group has launched its new cement brand ‘Bigcem’ at Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh. The product will be targeted at markets in Uttarakhand and Western Uttar Pradesh to start with followed by expansion in Delhi and the National Capital Region, according to the Hans India newspaper. Gautam Kanodia, director of Kanodia Group, said that the product is expected to give 40% more strength than the general Bureau of Indian Standards standard.
