Finland: Tana Oy has appointed Jari Mennala as its CEO with effect from 5 May 2025. He succeeds Kalle Saarimaa who became the Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice President of NG Group in February 2025.

Mennala was appointed as the Director of Worldwide Forestry Sales & Marketing and Managing Director of John Deere Forestry Oy in 2024. He has worked for John Deere since 2008 for its forestry division in Finland, the US and the UK. He holds a master’s degree in industrial management from Tampere University of Technology and an executive master’s of business administration from Aalto University in Helsinki.

Finland: Tana Oy has appointed Anu Söderena as Manager, Nordics & Baltics. Her responsibilities include leading and developing the sales and rental business of Tana Rental's machine portfolio, as well as coordinating maintenance and spare parts operations.

Söderena previously worked as a Business Development Manager at Kuusakoski Recycling, where she was responsible for managing a recycling plant investment project, among other roles. She holds a master’s degree in materials engineering and a master of business administration qualification.

Finland/Germany: Tana Oy has entered a strategic partnership with Veneto Schwenter for the distribution of Tana Oy shredders in Germany. The collaboration will enhance Veneto Schwenter's portfolio of sales, rental and consulting services in manufacturing equipment, alongside machine service and repairs.

Finland: Tana Oy has appointed Kalle Saarimaa as its chief executive officer with effect from 1 June 2023.

Saarimaa is currently working as the Senior Vice President for Circular Solutions at Fortum Oyj. However, he has been a member of the board of Tana Oy since 2021. Prior to working for Fortum Oyj he held posts with Ekokem and Walki Oy. He is also active in Finnish and European waste management organisations and as a board member of circular economy companies.

Tana sells products to the recycling and landfill sectors such as shredders, compactors, screeners, sifters and more.
