Lindner Recyclingtech America makes new appointments
16 February 2022US: Lindner Recyclingtech America has appointed Brent Moncrief as its National Sales and Corporate Account Manager for the US West Coast and Michelle Wilshire as its new Operations Manager at its headquarters in Statesville, North Carolina. Moncrief will work on consulting with clients on the company’s portfolio of industrial shredding products to large, multi-location waste handling and processing sites while also supporting Lindner’s participation with industry associations and events.
Tana celebrates 50th anniversary
30 March 2021Finland: Tana has celebrated the 50th anniversary of its founding in 1971. It marked the occasion by setting an ambitious growth target of Euro100m within the next ten years from Euro40.0m in 2020. It said that the ‘open-minded and innovative’ tradition which it has maintained over the past 50 years will continue in future. Tana is a producer of waste shredders.
SSI launches new Pri-Max primary shredder
06 October 2020US: SSI has announced the launch of the Pri-Max, a primary shredder “built to reduce the volume of bulky materials while achieving processing rates of up to 150t/hr.” The product design incorporates new patented technologies, including “a new method for maintenance and replacement of wear parts as well as major assemblies.” The company says that this will “substantially decrease maintenance costs and improves ease of use.”
Director of sales and marketing Dave Fleming said “The Pri-Max is typically the first step in large processing systems, making it a critical component to customer productivity and success. Customers wanted longer service intervals and more flexibility in how they could choose to maintain wear parts in their machines.”
Vecoplan VEZ 3200 pre-shredder wins Red Dot Design Award
14 April 2020Germany: Red Dot has awarded Vecoplan its Red Dot Design Award for the new Vecoplan VEZ 3200 pre-shredder for refuse-derived fuel (RDF). The prize ‘acknowledges the aesthetics and workmanship’ of the product, as well as its ergonomiocs and functionality. Vecoplan CEO Werner Berens said, “The design impacts on the machine construction, making the shredder easier to handle for operators.”
