Details for the Global Cement Photography Competition - Now including Drone Video Category

ENTRY IS FREE

First prize is US$250 and second prize is US$125. The winner, second place and other commended entries will be published in Global Cement Magazine in the new year, as well as featuring in our popular YouTube showcase videos. Exceptional images are considered for the front cover of Global Cement Magazine and the Global Cement Directory.

The deadline for entries is 2 December 2022

Terms of entry for the Global Cement Magazine Photography Competition

Each individual may enter up to five photographs for the competition. Send the following information:

-- Photographer's name, company and contact details (email, postal address);

For each photograph:

-- Location of the subject;

-- Any additional information that might be of interest about the subject of the photo.

Although we imagine that cement and lime plants will be popular, any cement- and lime-related subject - people, architecture, wildlife - is eligible for entry. Technical prowess and the attractiveness of the final image will used to decide upon the winner. Upright ('portrait') and  'landscape' format photos are equally valid.

Entry is simple and free: Please send your entry (digital only, JPG format) by email to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. The subject line must be as follows: 'Global Cement Photo Competition' (otherwise it risks being junked by our spam filters!). Individual image files must be above 500kb but must be below 5Mb each in compressed size. Each entry is acknowledged by email.

Global Cement Drone Video Competition

There is a separate category for drone-based video: Videos must be shorter than 5 minutes in length, must be 720 pixel width resolution or higher and MUST be of cement or lime-related subjects. You must have copyright for the video and any soundtrack, any relevant permissions to take the footage and you must have obeyed all relevant safety and auronautical regulations during filming - and upon entry you warrant that you have obeyed these stipulations. To enter the Global Cement Drone Video Competition, send an email to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. The subject line must be as follows: 'Global Cement Drone Video Competition' (otherwise it risks being junked by our spam filters!).
