The May 2016 issue of Global Cement Magazine has a focus on the Americas to coincide with this year's IEEE-IAS/PCA Cement Industry Technical Conference and Exhibition. The issue includes a report on the US market and an in-depth look at the Texas cement sector in 2015 and early 2016.

It also includes interviews with US Portland Cement Association (PCA) president James Toscas and PCA's chief economist Ed Sullivan along with a site visit to Ash Grove's Midlothian cement plant and a look at Entsorga's MBT technology in West Virginia. Outside of America, the issue also features the latest global cement industry news and a photo gallery of the recent bauma exhibition in Munich.
