The January 2022 issue of Global Cement Magazine celebrates 25 years since the publication of its earliest predecessor, Asian Cement & Construction Materials Magazine and has expanded to accommodate contributions from around the global cement sector, its suppliers, associations and consultants. Among those discussing the past, present and future of the sector are the World Cement Association, the VDZ, the Portland Cement Association and the UK Cement Industry Suppliers' Forum.
There are articles on future plant technology, capacity trends, the development of SCM use and the role of logistics, as well as insights from numerous well-known suppliers. Global Cement also reviews the changes to our sector since 1997 and there are interviews with Global Cement's founders and messages of support from around the sector, as well as a pictorial look back on the past 25 years of Global Cement's travels around the world.
There's also a full 'regular' January issue, which includes the winning entries from our annual photography competition, Proudfoot's top tips for the year ahead and articles on fans, alternative fuels and concrete silo reinforcement, along with Global Cement's review of the cement sectors of northern Europe and all of the latest cement news.
