Taiwan: An-Ping Chan has become the president of Taiwan Cement in addition to his current roles as the group’s chief executive officer and the company’s chair. The concurrent appointment follows the resignation of previous president Jong-Peir Li due to personal health reasons.
Abdullah bin Odeh Al-Ghabeen Al-Enezi appointed as chair of Al Jouf Cement
Saudi Arabia: Al Jouf Cement has appointed Abdullah bin Odeh Al-Ghabeen Al-Enezi as its chair. It follows the resignation of Mohammed Saeed Attia in mid-July 2022.
Head of Raysut Cement resigns
Oman: Ghose Jotirmoy Pratul Krishna has resigned as the chief executive officer of Raysut Cement. The company will announce the appointment of his successor from mid-August 2022. In a statement the cement producer said that recent news circulating on social media had nothing to do with it or its subsidiaries and that the situation referred to a time before the executive joined the company in late 2017. It added that its current CEO was currently in Oman. Ghose was previously the managing director of Binani Cement in India.
Ishtiaq Ahmed appointed as head of Dewan Cement
Pakistan: Dewan Cement has appointed Ishtiaq Ahmed as its chief executive officer (CEO). He succeeds Malik Bilal Omar in the position. Ishtiaq Ahmed was previously appointed as the company’s chair in 2018. Waseem-ul-Haque Ansari has also been appointed as a director in place of the departing CEO.
