Latest Issue: Global Cement Magazine - May 2014


The May 2014 issue of Global Cement Magazine has a review of the Brazilian cement industry, a plant visit report from InterCement's Ijaci plant and a visit report from Brazilian refractory manufacturer Magnesita - all to coincide with the 6th CBC Congresso do Cimento in São Paulo, Brazil. Other features include 150 years of Gebr. Pfeiffer, a detailed look at explosion venting and CO and NOx emission reduction.

Elsewhere there are features on bagging, packaging and palletising (along with a list of cement-relevant exhibitors from the forthcoming Interpack 2014 exhibition in Düsseldorf, Germany and a wider look at refractory supplier contracts and news. There is additionally an interview with Oman Cement and one of the first reviews of the IEEE-IAS/PCA Cement Industry Technical Conference in Washington DC, USA.
