2nd Global Cement India Conference and Exhibition,18-19 February 2013, Mumbai
The second Global Cement India Conference, Exhibition, Awards (and cricket match) has very successfully taken place in at the Vivanta by Taj-President Hotel Mumbai, 18 - 19 February 2013. Around 250 registered delegates enjoyed two days of business, networking, presentations, discussions and interaction. The now-traditional conference cricket match was this year staged in the conference room at the end of the programme, and was won by the team from the Indian cement industry, who beat the Rest of the World team (comprising players from Germany, UK, France, Mexico and Australia) by eight wickets.
Delegates and exhibitors alike were delighted - one described the event as 'The Rolls-Royce of cement conferences,' while another stated that, despite having been to many cement conferences in India over the years, 'The Global Cement India Conference is the best by far.'
