Gabon: China-based Conch Investment Holding and Hope Global Investment have commenced construction of their upcoming US$195m, 1Mt/yr Malibé cement plant in Estuaire. The La Tribune newspaper has reported that the companies will jointly build, finance and operate the plant. It will serve Gabon’s domestic market when operational.
