KCP appoints Indira Dutt as managing director

India: KCP has appointed Indira Dutt as its chairperson and managing director following approval by its shareholders. She succeeds V L Dutt, who died in February 2020, according to the Press Trust of India.
Indira Dutt holds a B.A. in economics from Madras University. She holds a number of directorships including Fives Cail - KCP Limited, Velagapudi Foundation, KCP Vietnam Industries Limited and V Ramakrishna Sons Private Limited. She was also the chairperson (CSR) member of finance committee and risk management committees of KCP. She is the president of the World Telugu Federation and Chairperson of Andhra Chamber of Commerce.
KCP is a conglomerate with businesses in the cement, heavy engineering, sugar and power industries. It operates two integrated cement plants in Andhra Pradesh.
Lafarge Cement appoints Miroslav Kratochvíl as head in Czech Republic

Czech Republic: Lafarge Cement has appointed Miroslav Kratochvíl as its chief executive officer (CEO). He has succeeded João Paulo Pereira da Silva, who has taken up a new role outside of the LafargeHolcim Group.
Kratochvíl joined Lafarge Cement in 2013 as a sales director where he relaunched the Čížkovický Cement brand. Prior to this he worked for Tremco Illbruck, a European building materials producer and supplier, managing sales in Eastern European countries.
Saleh Bin Muhammad Al Muhanna appointed as director of Saudi Cement

Saudi Arabia: Saudi Cement has appointed Saleh Bin Muhammad Al Muhanna as a director. He will suceed Ahmed Bin Muhammad Al-Omran in the role with effect from 1 June 2020. Al-Muhanna is currently the Director of Research and Studies Administration at the Public Institution for Social Security. He holds a master’s degree in actuarial science from the University of Connecticut, US and a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from King Saud University.
Carol Hui appointed as non-executive director of Breedon

UK: Breedon has appointed Carol Hui as an independent non-executive director. She holds directorships with a number of companies, including Heathrow Airport, the British Tourist Authority, Robert Walters and Triumph Properties. Previously, she held a directorship with Amey, a UK-based infrastructure support service provider.
Yasser Elnaggar appointed as chairman of Suez Cement

Egypt: Suez Cement has appointed Yasser Elnaggar as its chairman. He succeeds Hayrullah Hakan Gurdal in the role.
Elnaggar is the chief executive officer (CEO) of EN Investment, a management advisory and investment house. Previously he worked as CEO of the Chemical Industries Holding Company (CIHC), a conglomerate made up of 23 Egyptian companies. Alongside this he holds over 25 years experience as a diplomat for the Egyptian government with a notable posting in from 2010 to 2014 as the Deputy Chief of Mission of the Embassy of the Arab Republic of Egypt in Washington, DC. Domestic government roles he has held include working as the Principal Deputy Minister of Planning, Monitoring and Administrative Reform. In this position he helped oversee the implementation of Egypt's 2030 Vision strategy. He also held the post of Principal Deputy Minister of Investment until April 2016.
