Australia: Boral has appointed Belinda Shaw as its chief financial officer (CFO). She succeeds Jared Gashel, who has held the position of Acting CFO since April 2022.

Shaw holds over 25 years of professional experience, including more than 10 years of senior executive finance experience across multiple industries. She was appointed as Acting CFO of Sydney Airport, after three years at the company. Her previous roles included Deputy CFO, General Manager Finance, General Manager Investor Relations & Financial Control, and Head of Finance Transformation & Strategy. Prior to her time at Sydney Airport, Shaw worked at General Electric Company where she held roles including CFO ANZ & PNG, CFO Global Mining, and CFO Global Locomotive. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of South Australia and is a Fellow Certified Practicing Accountant (FCPA).

France: Monitoring systems producer ENVEA Global has appointed Trevor Sands as its chief executive officer (CEO). He succeeds Christophe Chevillion in the post.

Sands worked recently as the Global President of Servomex Group, a company in the gas analysis sector. Prior to this he ran the Control Valves business for IMI, he was the CEO of Cosalt and also spent 13 years with Emerson, including leading the Fisher Valves European business and later running the Daniel Measurement and Controls Division. His early career was spent with Invensys, Unitech and Arthur Anderson in various finance roles. Sands graduated from the University of Bristol in the UK with an undergraduate science degree.

ENVEA Global is a manufacturer of on-line monitoring solutions for industry, laboratory and local and government institutions. It was founded in 1978 and became a public company in 2006. Carlyle Group is its majority shareholder.

Pakistan: Dewan Cement has appointed Hazrat Ali as its chief financial officer. He succeeds Imran Ahmed Javed in the role. The cement producer operates two plants.

Türkiye: Votorantim Cimentos Türkiye has appointed İlker Kutlu Yilmaz as its Head of Logistics. He previously worked as the Group Logistics Manager for Cementir Holding in Türkiye. Prior to this he also worked as a Logistics Manager for VICAT from 2012 to 2018. Other notable roles he has held include working in logistics for Feka Construction, Industry & Trade and Omsan Logistics.

Australia: First Graphene has appointed Lester Lee as its Commercial Manager – Cement & Concrete. Singapore-based Lee holds nearly 30 years of experience working in the cement and concrete industries. This includes management roles in Hong Kong and Singapore with multinational companies such as Fosroc Construction Chemicals, K Wah Concrete Company and WR Grace.

First Graphene is an Australia-based supplier of graphitic materials and product formulations to sectors including cement and concrete, composites and plastics, coatings, adhesives, silicones and elastomers (CASE) and energy storage applications.
