Peru: 1.31Mt of cement was shipped in Peru in September 2026, registering an increase of 11% year-on-year. 1.16Mt of cement was produced, equivalent to a growth of 10% year-on-year. 0.89Mt of clinker was produced, representing an increase of 33% compared to September 2025. 0.86Mt of cement was exported, showing a decrease of 17% year-on-year, and 36,083t of clinker was exported, equivalent to a decrease of 49%. 71,932t of cement was imported: 82% via the Port of Chancay from Vietnam; 13% via the Tacna Bus Terminal from Chile, and 5% via the Port of Matarani via Vietnam.

UAE: Shree Cement subsidiary Union Cement Company has commissioned a new US$31.3m, 3Mt/yr grinding plant in Ras Al Khaimah. The plant is equipped with a vertical roller mill, with an integrated grinding and separation system.

Press Trust of India News has reported that the plant increases the subsidiary’s installed cement capacity by 75%, to 7Mt/yr. India-based Shree Cement has a total global production capacity of 76.3Mt/yr. It has a renewable power generation capacity of 635MW, accounting for 66% of group energy consumption in the first quarter of the (current) 2027 financial year.

Australia: Green360 Technologies has secured a binding agreement to supply Eifers Civil with up to 4800t of its MKX metakaolin supplementary cementitious material product, at a fixed price of US$173/t delivered, over an initial 12-month period. Green360 said that it had already used MKX-containing concrete in major infrastructure in Melbourne, with more than 3500m³ poured across infrastructure projects in the city. Together with Holcim, its supply agreements now cover up to 9600t. The company estimates the value of the contract to generate approximately US$831,000 of revenue for the initial 12-month supply period.

India: JK Cement and logistics partner Container Corporation of India (CONCOR) have launched a long-haul, containerised cement rail service between the Khemli cement terminal in Rajasthan’s Udaipur district and Inland Container Depot Whitefield (ICDW) in Bengaluru, Karnataka. Maritime Gateway News has reported that the service will connect JK Cement’s new Udaipur plant to the South India market. This will help the producer to further transfer its logistics from road to rail.
