New CFO for James Hardie Industries

US: James Hardie Industries, the world's largest producer and marketer of high-performance fibre cement and fibre gypsum building solutions, has announced the appointment of Rachel Wilson as its Chief Financial Officer (CFO), effective 16 August 2023. She was appointed after Jason Miele stepped down as CFO. He will remain at James Hardie for three months as an advisor to the CEO for special projects, and will subsequently leave the organisation.
Wilson has joined James Hardie following a successful career of over 25 years in the global technology, business services and consumer products industries. Most recently, she served as Executive Vice President, CFO and Treasurer at R1 RCM. Previously, she held leadership positions at global companies such as Iron Mountain, Jarden Corporation and Avon Products. She earlier served in corporate finance and merger and acquisition investment banking roles at Citigroup and Morgan Stanley.
Commenting on the appointment, James Hardie Industries CEO Aaron Erter said "Rachel has deep experience in corporate finance, capital markets and leading and developing high performing teams, along with a demonstrated focus on driving profitable growth. Rachel is clearly a valuable addition to the leadership team and will help us as we pursue our strategic growth plans."
Wilson said "It's an honour to join James Hardie, a leader in the building products industry with an outstanding culture of business and product innovation. I look forward to working with Aaron and being part of this high-performing team. It is an exciting time to leverage our capabilities and to continue to drive our global growth."
Jean-Paul Wallace appointed as company secretary at Boral

Australia: Boral has appointed Jean-Paul Wallace as its General Counsel and company secretary. He succeeds Peter Lim who held the posts on an interim basis.
Wallace has worked for Australia-based and international law firms. He has also held positions in the engineering and construction sectors for almost 20 years, with General Counsel and company secretary roles at UGL, Tenix and CPB Contractors. He holds an undergraduate degrees in art and law from the University of Sydney and a graduate diploma in corporate governance from the Governance Institute of Australia.
Hitesh L Marthak has been appointed as company secretary at Ambuja Cements

India: Amubja Cements has appointed Hitesh L Marthak as its company secretary and compliance officer. Hitesh holds 25 years professional experience. He was appointed to the same positions at subsidiary ACC in late July 2023. Both Ambuja Cements and ACC are part of Adani Group.
Nollaig Forrest appointed as chief sustainability officer at Holcim

Switzerland: Holcim has appointed Nollaig Forrest appointed as its chief sustainability officer with effect from 1 September 2023. She succeeds Magali Anderson in the post, who has decided to pursue new career opportunities as a board member and supporter of non-government organisations.
Forrest is currently working as the Group Head of Corporate Affairs at Holcim, in charge of Investor Relations, Group Communications, Public Affairs & Branding. Prior to being employed by Holcim, she was the Vice President Corporate Communications at Firmenich and held public affairs roles at Dow, DuPont and the World Economic Forum. Forrest is a member of the MIT Climate and Sustainability Consortium Advisory Council and a member of Bloomberg’s Cities Council for sustainable cities.
Forrest holds a masters degree in International Relations from the Graduate Institute of International Studies in Geneva, Switzerland. She has also completed the Yale-WBCSD Sustainability Leadership and INSEAD International Marketing programs.
Yin Zhisong appointed as chair of Sinoma International Engineering

China: Yin Zhisong has been elected as the chair of Sinoma International Engineering. He succeeds Liu Yan, who has resigned. Zhisong has held of number of management positions with subsidiaries of China National Building Material (CNBM) and Sinoma. Notably he has worked as the general manager of Suzhou Sinoma Construction, the general manager of Sinoma International Engineering and a vice president at Sinoma International Engineering.
